FLOOD & ROAD CLOSURE UPDATES

**Update** June 19, 2018 – 11:12 AM
The Burnett County Emergency Management Team has determined it is safe for the families voluntarily evacuated from the Village of Danbury, WI last evening to return to their homes. Well water test kits are available for flood victims. When in doubt, do not drink or use the water if the water is cloudy, colored or smells bad. For a test kit please contact Anna Treague, RN with Burnett County Public Health for more information at 715-349-7600.

Burnett County Highway Department reports the following road closure updates:
1. State Highway 35 at Riverside is still closed. Flood waters need to recede about 2’ before it is off the highway.
2. State Highway 35 in Danbury over the Yellow River was never closed.
3. State Highway 77 over the St. Croix River at the Minnesota state line is closed indefinitely due to a washed out long section of the highway on the Minnesota side.
4. State Highway 70 over the St. Croix River west of Grantsburg is not closed.
5. There are no Burnett County road closures or areas of major damage.

Dial 211 to report any home or flood damage, and other non-emergency medical assistance needs.
