This position requires a two-year technical degree in accounting, or
closely related program, plus three to five years relevant experience. A thorough knowledge of methods used in
keeping accounts, maintaining records in a confidential manner, and the ability
to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow staff and
the public are essential.
Desirable candidates will have prior
experience involving interaction with the general public including the
use of interviewing techniques to obtain required personal, financial, and
medical information pertaining to their services. Interpersonal skills to
relate and communicate well with the public and knowledge of, and referral to,
a variety of available resources.
